BMW 650i SE Convertible
Shot at an exhibition recently, the BMW 650i SE Convertible is a beautiful luxury car that would sadly be beyond my means. It’s doubtful that I would be able to keep up with the demands of the fuel tank either.
It is clearly a fine piece of automotive engineering and style.
On such an overcast day it was photographically challenging to create an interesting image. It was all the more difficult in a tight situation with people milling around to eliminate or minimise their impact on the image. Together with the initial wide angled view, tight cropping, some peripheral zoom and darkening, it hopefully adds to the drama and mystique of the powerful luxury vehicle.
Not sure how much of a motoring / weather optimist you would need to be to own such a thing in Scotland. Perhaps some raindrops streaking up across the bonnet would have helped the final image and be a more accurate possible scenario. Of course there is a Coupé model available too. That might be safer in this climate and cheaper! A double win for a Scot.
