This ferry travels the route from Oban, in Argyll, on the Scottish mainland, to Craignure, on the Isle of Mull.

The stretch of water in this image is Loch Linnhe, which is a sea loch. As the view in this image is looking directly up the length of Loch Linnhe, it’s likely that one of these distant mountains is Ben Nevis, at 1343 m (4406ft) the highest in Scotland and in the United Kingdom. Having checked Ordnance Survey maps it would  be the one on the far left of the distant mountains. At more than 30 miles away from this point, some of the adjacent peaks may obscure the Ben but it is in direct line up the loch from this location.
