Lismore Lighthouse

Lismore Lighthouse

Lismore Lighthouse was built by Robert Stevenson and is located on the small island of Eilean Musdile to the south west of Lismore Island, which lies between the Firth of Lorn and Loch Linnhe.

The smaller Lady’s Rock Lighthouse (not pictured) is a kilometer further south. These lighthouses are both visible from the ferry crossing between Oban and Craignure on the Isle of Mull.

The next image shows the lighthouse viewed from the south so the land behind is Lismore.

The next images were taken nearer to Craignure looking towards Oban so the mountains behind are on the Scottish Highlands on the mainland.
