Winter Primula
These flowers are Primula and were first noticed to be in full bloom during the week between Christmas and New Year in my own garden in Central Scotland.
By the time got around to photographing them, illuminated by the low angled winter sun, it was the 7th January. I would normally consider these to be spring flowers so they do seem to be blooming out of season.
These photographs were taken in January 2012 using a Fujifilm S5 DSLR. Shot in RAW format and processed in Photoshop CS2 ACR2.4
